CBG Group has been appointed by the Lytham St Annes Spitfire Memorial Fund Committee to place £60,000 worth of cover for a travelling replica of the Mark VB Spitfire.

Dave Mackie, Director of CBG Insurance Brokers, commented: “The Mark VB Spitfire is an important part of the town’s heritage and testament to the fantastic efforts made by servicemen and women in the area during the Second World War.

“We were more than happy to jump in at the last minute, utilising our flexibility and insurance expertise to help make this innovative aircraft display a reality.”

It comes after CBG's recent appointment by One Enterprise to cover the Royal Hospital Haslar regeneration project. The policy will provide cover for £150m worth of buildings.
