Kwik Fit Insurance has announced its strongest figures for a single day of trading since the company was established in 1995.
The Lanarkshire-based firm’s landmark day saw more than 2,000 new policyholders signing up to the Kwik Fit Insurance brand in 24 hours.
Sales of new car insurance policies topped 1,600, with the business also recording 400 new home insurance policy sales.
Brendan Devine, Kwik Fit Financial Services group managing director, said: “This is a terrific accomplishment and the figures highlight the continued success of Kwik Fit Insurance in both the motor and home insurance market.
“We’ve had a strong start to the year and our products are proving extremely popular and cost effective to customers. Our staff must be congratulated for the hard work and commitment shown in delivering this record breaking result.
“Our priority is always to ensure that we continue to deliver excellent insurance products which represent real value for money, and new customers in these numbers give us confidence that we are doing that.”
